Flower Poesy

Here is a flower poesy I made... ALL OUT OF ICING! That's right, its made totally from scratch, and is in fact one of the first things I made with my cake decorating, all be it, with support! See, as I am home bound, I can not get out to night time cake decorating classes or the likes and so when I rang someone enquiring about it, as she also has an understanding of chronic pain/illnesses she offered to take me on and teach me at home, in the mornings (my best time of day) and as I was able to do it. If I cant do it one week, I let her know, but it works both ways! Its been amazing and such a deep friendship has blossomed forth from it, I am so very lucky! So this was one of the very first things we worked on together! I am so proud of it! I keep it now in the cupboard where its protected from dust and dirt and being broken... Its pretty delicate but it will last and last!

Here are some of the finished pictures, then I will show you some of the "work in progress" ones...

All the different types of flowers pansy's, daises, lavender, berries, chilli's, leaves, chrysanthemum, all sorts!

Another view.

Close up on some of the flowers, you can also see the underside of some of the leaves.

All completed! Now, for some of the close up individual pictures....

The leaves, you cant see them well in the full pictures, but you can in actual life. Anyhow, here is a close up of a few of the leaves... Each leaf is slightly different to the other...

Up close of the Pansys... I really love these, they are soo pretty to me!

This was them BEFORE they were coloured up... Neat transformation huh? I loved them white too!

Some of the berries up close!

The daises! Some of the centres were green, just like in normal daises where they are just maturing!

The Lavender before it was dusted up!

And although ita a bad picture, this is the Lavender dusted up! Note the darker tips, the flowers darker and just a bit more colour... the one to the right shows it up the best in this photo!

So there we go! A gorgeous finished poesy!
